Turkey Hash

As a child I started Christmas Day at home, had lunch at Grannie and Grandaddy's house then had dinner with NaNa and PaPa.  Turkey was always on the menu that night and again the following morning in the form of "Hash".  At my house, we have this for dinner more often than breakfast.  It still brings back the memories of sitting in a much too cramped kitchen waiting for my serving to be scooped from the big pot on the stove.

Ingredients:
Left-over turkey slices, pulled or cut into bite-sized pieces
Turkey Gravy
Bread slices
Pepper

Mix turkey with enough gravy to more than cover pieces.  Heat until warmed throughout.  While heating, toast bread and cut in ½ on the diagonal.  Arrange toast on plates and ladle gravy over toast.  Sprinkle with pepper, if desired.  (This tastes great with mashed potatoes and green beans.)
